Mentoring Program for High School Students

Dear IAM Supporters,

If you are, have or know High School students in the Philadelphia Region, please share this opportunity with them! Participating students will receive a stipend, 1-on-1 mentoring sessions, and opportunity to apply for paid and/or unpaid internships.

IAM SATURDAY MENTORING DAYS
Professionals through IAM’s Network are volunteering their time on Saturdays during the months of April and May to help High School Students develop their social and professional skills, gain access to future career opportunities, and develop healthier relationships and strive academically.

How to sign up?
Students and Parents should visit influeningaction.org/mentoring to complete an online application or call (267) 255-3108. There is session this Saturday, April 16th from 10am – 12pm at Finley Recreation Center, 7701 Mansfield Avenue in Room 213. See below for full schedule.


WHY SIGN UP?
  • Receive a stipend at the conclusion of the program in May ($20 per session)
  • Access to 1-on-1 mentoring sessions with professionals from different professions to give you advice on any topic
  • A citation from the Office of Councilwoman Cherelle Parker to include with your college, internship and future job applications.
