As we seek to improve the IAM Mentoring program, we are seeking professionals who are looking for ways to be involved during the program year and use their networks to support program needs.
As a member of the IAM Board of Directors, the expectation is that you attend quarterly board meetings in person. Meetings are held at our corporate office located at Pipeline Philly, 30 S. 15th Street. Meetings are held in the months of November, February, April & June. Dates and times are based on members availability.
Board members are also expected to participate in a summer planning retreat. Date, time and location is determined on members availability.
As a member of the IAM Board, you will be asked to make an annual financial donation to the organization and assist in seeking both financial and in-kind contributions to sustain and grow our work. The board also oversees the volunteer efforts of our Parent Mentor Advisory Council and Student Leadership Council.
Due to the nature of our work with youth, all members of the IAM Board are required to complete criminal background and child abuse clearances.
