IAM Connected: The Bazemore Gallery

On Saturday, October 5, 2013 the Manayunk area of Philadelphia was graced with the launch of the Bazemore Gallery. Owner, Leonard Bazemore, who has a passion for art and the community, revealed his treasure to the public. Guests had the opportunity to marvel at beautiful artwork, hear original poetry, and share great conversation with new and seasoned artists from around the world.

Attendees raved about the unique qualities that set this gallery apart from others, such as the detailed Feng Shui design and the horticultural living wall. The design of the Bazemore Gallery is based on the five elements of Feng Shui: wood, fire, metal, water and earth. The five elements can be found in the colors and materials used in the gallery design. The horticultural living wall blooms with ferns, nerve plants and purple orchids maintained by its very own integrated irrigation system. And if that is not enough, the living wall stands over a table made from a fallen tree in Indonesia. It’s safe to say that true beauty resides in the Bazemore Gallery.  Leonard Bazemore describes his gallery as “food for the eyes and the soul”, and we would have to agree. It is truly a space for the COMMUNITY to enjoy! The hours of operation for the gallery are Mondays to Wednesdays 11:00am to 5:00pm and Thursdays to Saturdays 11:00am to 8:00pm.
