The Influencing Action Movement would like to give special recognition to IAM Advisory Board Chair and IAM Girl Talk mentor Shatara Hook! Shatara has been with IAM Girl Talk since its conception in 2011. Shatara Hook graduated cum laude from Howard University with a B.B.A in Marketing in May of 2008. During her tenure at Howard University she was involved in organizations on and off campus such as the School of Business Student Council, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc and non-profit community organizations.
Shatara is currently a Regional Account Manager for Sony Electronics in which she is responsible for over $20 million in gross sales. Her current role allows her to leverage her interpersonal, strategic and creative skills to drive sales and ultimately grow the business and expand her current portfolio. When she is not working, Shatara volunteers at the Holley Center, a long term living facility for children in need, as well as participates in various community activities with her Sorority.
